Windows Onto Saltspring
I had such a great time on Saltspring Island that I will do several posts about it. I was delighted that the gallery/shop 'Knotty Threads'was open when I arrived, since I've missed out on seeing inside of it in the past, having to content myself with peering through the windows. This time, I could do that from inside out! I bought several interesting yarns there and saw gorgeous nuno scarves and lovely, detailed textile art by Kirsten Chursinoff. Those views are beautiful!
There was alot to see and it was the perfect time of year with all the fall colours - and I think those came out in my shawl, as well.
