The final day of the workshop I got in a brief walk before returning to more rolling - startling a flock of pigeons into flight, finding some leaves to try in a dye bath and enjoying the peaceful beauty. Here is my shawl before and after the shrinking that occurred as I continued to roll it, check it and add friction, heat, water and soap. You can see how you need a large space to do one of these - and a good amount of time.

wow. it's gorgeous. nice to be able to say you made it.
What a lovely wrap made from your heart and time....precious time...time to roll and roll and roll. Pure expansion of light and shadow. Peace, Mary Helen
It's beautiful, I love the way you have wrapped it around yourself. How lovely to be wrapped in ones own art.

Yvonne, such a lovely piece of work!!! And I fully expect it's the first of many!! I can't wait to see it 'for real'. Have fun.
