After stitching the squares on the upper right corner, none of the ideas I had for how to stitch the left side of the turquoise and white cotton felt quite right. It becomes a balancing act - to vary the size and shapes and alternate where they are located on the larger whole - to have a good amount of repetition and variety that pleases my eye. I have a feeling that I will be making further changes...
