Hi, I love how this turned out !!! and those are some of my very favorite flowers ... I am wondering how you accomplished this ??? It looks great. Very best wishes, Barbara from Brushes and Cloth
I'm pleased with it too. Check out India Flint's book on natural dyeing - there's a video clip of her dyeing on my blog February 2nd of this year and other of my dye results that month, too. I sprayed the silk with vinegar, spread on the flowers, bundled it up in a roll with a few elastic bands and steamed it in a steamer basket in my crockpot. Warning -if you try it, you might be hooked...
Hi, Thank you ... I will ... wow who would have thought of a crockpot? I have her felting book so I will look for the natural dyeing. Glad you are getting a little relief from the heat ... us, too. Best wishes, Barbara

You're welcome - I didn't know India has a felting book - sounds interesting - I love her creations.
I love your experimental spirit. Keep up the good work. I like the idea of the stain.
Thanks and I love yours - great questioning!
