A Secret

So nice to sew outside on this sunny day, listening to the birds and my neighbour's whirlygig. I did decide to sew a treasure into this piece for safekeeping. The key to someone's heart? A symbol for unlocking doors we need to move through or a keeper of answers, of wisdom? It's a secret only you and I know :)

Thanks Kaite - it is hard to get a sense of perspective from photos without some other point of reference.

Yvonne, wow, I love how the stitching lifted everything up. Love the back too - Hugs Nat

Thanks Nat - I love seeing the new texture that stitch adds, too.

I always enjoy seeing the *backs* of hand stitched cloth. They hold their own secrets, I think. Much good work happening in your direction, Yvonne :>}}

stitching adds so much to a piece, even though I liked it before, it's even more stunning. The secret pocket, key ,is great, also. I love pieces that have parts that only the artist knows, or someone who examines it thoughly. I think I already mentioned that I like the fact that you put thought into your pieces. I love your work.
