Quilt Tops From Nancy Crow Workshop

These are the two quilt tops I made in the Nancy Crow workshop. All the pieces are cut freehand with a rotary cutter. Everyone's work was very different and so interesting. I'm thinking about how I might use what I've learned - where to go next with it - while completing 'Sea Change'.

I like this. I think the freehand element really adds a naturalness that is easy on the eye.

Hi Yvonne,
Thanks for sharing. I'm really liking both of these pieces. Is everything sewn together or is their some fusing of striped sections to background fabric.
On the top piece I can see you using it as a background and then adding some hand work overtop.
Must have been amazing to see everyone's stacks of coloured fabric!

Thanks, Pam and Laura! Everything is machine pieced - no fusing. As for the fabrics - there were people from other workshops who came in to see what we were doing that took photos of all the lusciously laid out rainbows.
