'Song of the Sea' is currently in the Community Arts Council of the Saanich Peninsula 'Small Expressions' show on until March 30th.

I find sculptures are very challenging to convey with photos, as no angle really gets the sense of the whole.

Shape Shifting

 The insides of 'Three of Cups' have silk hankies for more texture.

And here is 'The Pearl of Great Price'.

 I thought this one would be a kind of Goddess shape, but it had other ideas and curled and shifted as I worked on it

to become 'A Mind of  His Own'.

Bloom Time

'Bloom Time' was an experiment that sparked a lot more ideas.

 I did smaller sculptures to test them out, including some I posted previously.
