I am delighted that 'No Guts, No Glory' won a Juror's Choice Award at this past weekend's Saanich Peninsula Arts and Crafts Society show!
'Tropical Dreams' is a combination of nuno and wet felting, and is now spoken for.
'Wind Over Water' combines my dyed felt in a patchwork effect.
'Spring In My Step' is a response to the joy I felt with spring's light, colour, and promise of increased growth.
And I thought you might like to see how felt I've dyed changes and shrinks once sculpted into
'Lily of the Sea' - and that large piece was less than half of what I used! There is a lot of
unpredictability and surprise in felting, which keeps the process very alive.
